Term 4, 2009

Term 4 includes studying Roald Dahl's The Witches. We have read more than half the novel already because we are enjoying it so much. To go with this novel study we complete different tasks like corsswords, find a words, description writing, reading passages with an accent and playing a game called Witches 1.2. It's free from online and we love it!
Witches has secret codes for each level. We are currently up to Level 7.The codes don't stay secret for long though!

We are also involved in reading and guided writing groups weekly. The whole class enjoys special small group time to learn with their teacher, plus time to complete comprehension work and play the PS2. We can practice our good turn-taking skills and inclusive behaviour when playing games. We are very lucky to get access to a gaming console for Term 4 only.
